Power of Positive affirmations !
I have read a book by Louise Hay, the title of which is" You Can Heal Your Life." Louise, the author, maintains that the root cause of any dis-ease in the body is the mental patterns, one creates in his mind, consciously or sub-consciously. Any dis-ease in the physical form, is a manifestation of the inner mental patterns. These patterns can be changed. The author has given a methodology of searching the mental patterns which are responsible for the dis-ease, which we see in the physical form. Once you establish the mental pattern, the next step is to remove and replace it by a new mental pattern or thought pattern. The procedure, which the author prescribes for creating the new pattern is very simple. This can be done by choosing a positive affirmation. Affirmation can be any statement you make. Affirmation can be positive or negative. Any positive statement can be a positive affirmation, and any negative statement can be a negative affirmation. Saying "I hate my job" is a negative affirmation. On the contrary, declaring "I now accept a wonderful new job " is a positive affirmation. How to implant the positive affirmation in your consciousness, i.e. how to change your mental pattern ? Simple ! Continually make positive statements about how you want your life to be. However, there is one point, that is very important, is this : Always make your statement in the present tense, such as ' I am ' or ' I have. ' Your sub-conscious mind is such an obedient servant that it accepts it and starts behaving accordingly. This changes your mental pattern. A positive change in your mental pattern, manifests in to the physical form, and tries to eradicate the dis-ease.
The author has implemented this theory on her own cancer. She was suffering from cancer and doctors had advised her to go for an immediate operation. Instead, she used positive affirmations, which she formulated on her own, and got cured from the dreaded dis-ease.
She has suggested various positive thoughts for nearly 400 dis-eases. This is really fantastic !
What harm in trying ? I would recommend it.
